I've encountered a problem on both my PC and my phone. It happens during battles, but not all of them. Nothing happens, there's no "click next" prompt, characters don't appear, and the text doesn't change. The music plays fine, there's no freezing, the character sways, you can click the screen as much as you like, and nothing crashes or works. Because of this, I can't progress in the stories and cabaret. It doesn't happen in battles, but rather in the cutscenes before them. I've tried skipping, but nothing works; it always freezes. Meanwhile, battles without any dialogue proceed normally and without any issues.
It turns out this is happening with Kiryu's story too.

On the "installed" page it says the update's arrived, but on the actual game page itself there's only the "Open" button where "Update" usually is! I've lost 3 days of dailies from this now... No amount of flagging it "Not Updated" seems to work... Customer service is a bot that doesn’t have any answers for this problem... I fear I may be forced to redownload it, but what if that logs me out and I can't remember my login details?! The misery! The misery! Woe is me!
