Ib is a psychological horror game on PC published and developed by kouri in 2012.
A remake with updated graphics released in Steam on 11 April, 2022, and is expected to release on Nintendo Switch this Winter.
The game is available in Japanese, and recently added English, Chinese (Traditional / Simplified) and Korean.
The story of Ib revolves around a little girl called Ib, pronounced as Eve, who unintentionally runs into a mysterious world of arts inside an art museum.
Ib needs to find her way out as she encounters two other people trapped in the museum, Garry and Mary, whilst searching items and using the arts as a clue to solve the mystery.
When the game is released in Feb 2022, it has received a great reputation for its intriguing story and immersive atmosphere.
Players need to control Ib and Gary in suitable moment to adventure in this mysterious art museum.
Kouri's game concept is to wish players who are not good at games could also play without stress, thus the game mechanics and UI are very easy to follow.
The remake version adjusts the game balance as well as enlarges the graphics to be easier to read.
Some of the BGM will also be changed, and it is confirmed that Mary's OP will be renewed.
