takt op. Symphony is a mobile game of the cross-media project "takt op." produced by BANDAI Namco Arts and DeNA. The author of Sakura Wars, Hiroi Oji, will be leading the creation with Aya Takaha working on the script.

The story is set up in a world that has no music around the year 2050. A meteor from space brought the hostile creatures "Despair Dolls" also known as "D2" in 2020. Since they destroyed most of the world, humans are forced to hide and live in an underground city. You are a Conductor who can harness the power of the musical scores. And will lead the fight against D2 with "Musicart" girls, who are the manifestations of legendary musical composition.

As you progress through the game, you will know the girls and their stories better. Some characters released include: "Fate" by Kaede Hondo as Symphony No. 5 in C Minor Op.67, "Jupiter" by Natsu Yorita as Jupiter, the Bringer of Jollity, "Die Walküre" by Sumire Uesaka as Der Ring des Nibelungen...and more.

Takt Op. Destiny in the City of Crimson Melody uses an appealing idea to combine classical music in the worldview and story-telling. They also invited talented musicians like Sakamoto Hideki as the composer and the famous pop singer Nakashima Mika for the theme song.
