The sound tracks and sound effects I really really enjoy as well, another very aesthetically pleasing part of the game. Of course, a gacha isnt a gacha without some desirable characters, both design in visuals and personality. The game has a lot of endearing and interesting characters on their own, and honestly I actually like the main characters a lot, unlike most rpgs. They don't feel like a self insert like some games, with very persistent chosen one vibes. Yes seimei is "the chosen one" to some extent. Seimei is also a tired adult who is just trying his best without the introduction of coffee yet in ancient japan and would like his edgy dark persona to eff off.
The graphics for the character models have come a looooong way. I still remember when everyone had mitten hands and wood faces. Now most have animated expressions and hands that have idle motion (most ssrs and some srs). I still remember how yuki onna looked so different one day when I logged in... The translations are not really all that great lmao. A lot worse than some other global servers or patches. No completely intelligible but super wonky and awkward. Its generally fine in the main story episodes though.
All in all.... RELEASE FEMALE IBA SKIN COWARDS RELEASE I HAVE BOTH SSR AND SP READY FOR IT unless its sjade or talisman then I guess I'll just cry because broke

All and all the game is great! The storyline is great, good graphics, wonderful concept, BUT the space it takes up on my phone is just wow (7.25GB) and the gotcha system is beyond annoying and feels horribly unfair! I've been playing for several months and got a few SSR but can't pull a SP for the life of me! Even the SR are hard to come by! But if you can look past the space and gotcha rates it's a great game with a wonderful story!
I love the game and would give it a 5. Beginner and F2P friendly. If you play long enough you can get a good roster of shiki. Lots to do and weekly updates. The souls (equips) need to be adjusted though; about 80% are useless defense main stat :( 2 star for the nightmare that was the latest update: 3gig update that wouldn't install properly and kept redownloading until I deleted and reinstalled the game. LINK YOUR GAME to something so you can recover it if you have problems.

It's not that I hate this game or anything, but ngl it feels like a COMPLETE whales game. I'm not saying that it is, but with the ridiculous amount of micro transactions that ( no lie) they shove in your face is annoying.
I personally dont mind spending money in this game, but I dont want to spend money every time I want to do something.
That's why I falled this a slow burn of a game.
If you honestly want to play F2P ALL THE WAY, they you must have patients and dont mind the fomo. Especially when it comes to the summoning rates. Your more then likely to fill the whole list of SR and R then you are SSR and EX. And dont think thag you are gonna get the banner character, cause your not. Not even before or after the banner is over.
Then you have the summons that say 8% chance or increase your chance by keep sumooning 10 pulls and or buy your way to it. But dont get me wrong I love this game I do!
But samn they just make it so hard sometimes, cause then you have the events thay half the time they dont even tell you want you need to to do unless they are major story events.
So as much as this sounds like Im complaing, I love this game. But their just something that keep me from playing all the time or just in general.

however I cannot play because I get an error message when I try to open and update the game: "Network connection error. Please check your network." Even though my network is fine.However if you love traditional Japanese scenery, outfits and characters in high quality you will love this game. The main point of the game is to collect cards from gacha and fight enemies.... but there is a lot more surrounding this to make it interesting. Hopefully I can get my game working again.
