It's supposed to be a "Producing game" but there's nothing about it. The rhythm aspect is awful, baby-tier mode with only 1 note and you can even pass it without playing it.
Lack of voiced content in stories and cards is evident compared to the other imas games, which makes me think they don't even have money to pay voice actors, pretty sad.
Graphics are ugly and thats the only saving grace of this game, there's costumes for the idols but you need to roll the exact same card 3 times to get a costume.
Most events cards are boring and bland. It's not very friendly with F2P players, barely gives jewels to roll and only cares about whales.
Not even sidem fans like this so If you want to play a good imas game, try starlight stage, theater days, shiny colors or the console games.

What really bothers me is the rhythm part of the game. A one button rhythm game gets boring fast and lacks variety between songs. I understand it was like this to differentiate from the other IM@S games and to be easier to pick up for non-rythmn players, but at some point those players will also get bored. I personally feel like a better idea would have been making one button easy, a two button normal, a four button hard, and a six button expert to differentiate itself as a game and appeal to newcomers to rhythm games.
The events, like other parts of the game, are repetative. It is always the same type of event. There is no score match, there is no token event, just plain collecting points. I feel like it doesn't make events feel special.
What I do love about the game are the cards, outfits, and story. The models are a bit iffy but I don't mind it. The Performance feature is REALLY fun to play around with and the outfits are pretty decent. I love SideM's characters and songs so I have a lot of fun in MV mode. The amount of gems you need for gacha seems higher compared to other games but maybe that's just my imagination.
I'm sure a lot of people know, but Bandai seems to not care for SideM:LOS as much as the other branches games. Yes they update with events and gacha, but everything seems... still. I've played this game on and off with MONTHS of break in between and its the same everytime I come back. No UI changes, no new mechanic. Just the same game, with the same event format, and the same one button. I want SideM to have the best, but this is not what it deserves.

At first, I'm not really a fan of the character designs 'coz I found them too simple... Until I saw Seiji Shingen...

The performances are also very smooth when I use the standard 3D which I'm happy about.
SOUND:
I love it, especially Dramatic Stars' songs - I even listen to them on Youtube when I have the time. The other songs are great too and I love their dance moves.

GAMEPLAY:
I understand why some people hate it especially when they've played a gazillion other rhythm games, but it doesn't bother me that much. I actually find it unique that there's only one button to tap throughout the whole song - I suck at rhythm games, so this is challenging enough for me... LOL
As for the gacha, rates are so-so. And Idk if it's just me, but I find it hard to collect stuff to strengthen your card - kinda grindy.
STORYLINE:
Can't say much about it since I can't find translations of the main story. If anyone here knows a link for translations, please tell me - It'd be much appreciated.
OVERALL:
TBH, there are other rhythm games that are better like Enstars or Utapri, but it's an okay game for me, enjoyable - I play it when I have nothing else to play or when I'm waiting for the SPs or BPs or whatever of my other games to replenish.
If you're the type of rhythm game player who likes hardcore stuff, then this game would probably not be for you as it would not be challenging enough, BUT if you're a player like me who's mostly chill, then you'd probably enjoy it.

HighxJoker is the best unit

The event and gatcha almost the same but I'll recommend this for those who want to chill while playing or if you want to be a monster in other rhythm games... I will respect all the players out there...(´◉‿◉`)

Then, cards aren't that impossible to obtain, and they give enough M Jewels to make a group audition (if you SAVE them and just don't go single-pulling like I did when I just started lol) and they even give you 2500 M jewels on special occasions, and some events have a free pull a day, which sometimes turns out pretty good.
The "producing system" of the game is quite simple but it doesn't mean it's particularly bad. And yeah, the outfits are hard to obtain (that's one of the things I'd change, but it doesn't make the entirety of the gameplay).
A really positive aspect of this game is the variety of characters and the fact that they are really lovable (In my opinion). Each one has their own side story and the characters interactions between each other are just super sweet

Another thing I love is the music. It has a good amount of songs available from start, including two songs of each unit and lots of collabs (the world treasure songs are precious) and each one has it's own stage, animation and outfits.
Overall, it's not the best game but that doesn't mean it's bad

Now I'm too disappointed to play it again, I just finished my main event with Ryu SR and this happened afterwards T_T
Don't believe any gacha games those aren't connected with email anymore. Damn.

Apesar disso, gostei bastante.
