if you want a tldr, this game is 70% idoly pride and 30% shinymas.
Graphics:
the graphics really remind me of idoly pride(same dev studio i think?), which is a good thing because idoly pride graphics are really beautiful.

Gameplay:
You produce the idol! Raise their stats to pass the test!
( IMPORTANT!! look at the chart on the upper right corner of the screen to raise the stats accordingly!!) From my experience, you probably need to pull a lot of support cards to get an S rank idol and place 1st in the tests.The idols actually "grow" according to your rank. They sing and dance nicer, and have a bigger stage. If you fail the tests, the idol will sing in the training room instead.
Music:
In my opinion, it's good. Nothing groundbreaking, but pleasing to listen to.
Gacha:
a ten pull costs 2500 gems. ssr rates are 5% with a 200 pity. It's alright, better than some games.
Storyline:
Haven't read that yet, so I won't comment on it.
Overall:
It's a good game
! The graphics are beautiful, the gameplay is refreshing,good music, and cute idols! If you like idoly pride , shinymas , uma musume type games, then you'll probably like this one.

Character designs are unique to any other imas game, the mix of using three colours, soundtracks is also a classic, really throws you back to how im@s use to be. As a Producer for Saki Hanami, she definitely did a good voice act so far, ive yet to explore the other characters yet, so I cant say for sure. Ive grind on nearly all of the imas games, all 5/6 of em.
Still following it after so many years, Namco games always surprised me for Im@s.

Oreimo's author wrote most of the scenarios and absolutely delivered. Very fitting for the school setting and youth/growth theme. Also my preferred galge-ish approach when it comes to the interactions with P.
The songs are amazing and features many talented composers as usual, some really unexpected.
The chara-designs are pretty, making each girls unique. The 3D models are GOD-TIER! Nothing much to say about it. Not like my phone can handle max settings anyway. 60K polygons am I right?
The gameplay is unexpectedly really FUN! A lot can happen while producing, making each runs unique and challenging with its random aspects. Not to mention the runs are quick after reading all event scenes.
The dailies are very time saving. Thankfully and we even get useful items to exchange with AP.
Now my only issue is the gacha... As much as I like Hiro and the others, I'll have to skip on a lot of banners as the game isn't kind with giving free gems. Harsh even, but it is what it is, if that's what it takes to make a great game future proof.

It's a gameplay fusion of Shinymas and CUE!
It fixed all what lacks in Idoly Pride.
The songs are not as catchy as Idoly Pride nor Shinymas, maybe because it's meant to be a group of amateurs as they're just school idols, but regardless, it got the groove.
There's no need to reroll for produce idol as there's a free SSR produce selection ticket x2. One after the tutorial while the other is after you've completed the missions.
If you're hellbent on rerolling then go reroll for support idol cards as they're our backbone for producing idols.

I already tried playing these super beautiful graphics games on my phone and it would always lag so much... But gakumas runs perfectly!
The songs are fun! there's even a music player that runs while the phone is off!
The gameplay is fun, but really hard to understand at first, principally if you don't understand japanese... It took me a while to get how it works, but once you get it, the game turns more enjoyable, there's tons of objectives/tasks... It's like a card game, and I feel like it can get boring sometime, the "matches" are SO long, so sometimes I get bored quickly. It's difficult to get 1° place at first too, that's a good challenge!
The history seems good, I'm reading when I feel like it with a screen translator. The characters are well developed, I really like that we discover more of them, and secrets that are after written at a idol record...
I really like the details too! Like, if you doesn't train your idol voice enough, they'll sound bad when singing.
If you doesn't train your idol visual enough, they'll eventually get with their hair messy and sweating when live.
If you get 3° place, they'll be singing with a sad face.
It's a really fun game!
Oh, I'm not getting lucky with the gacha tho...
Just sad that I can't link my account without a bandai ID, and looks like I can get it only if I live in Japan...?

Graphic is now a Better Idoly Pride level and that's plus point from Qualiarts (the Devs).
Story is +++, Musics is banger, MV Quality is glorious.
Chara Member is attractive, added more + with Story. Customization such as MV Image Capture, Modified Profile, Costumes is getting better. Just hope there's more attractive costume.
I can even listen the songs in the game with Background on which good for Phone Multitasking, though the songs now available on most Streaming Platform so better to use that instead.
I have no negative side for this game personally but well this game again is heavy grind like Umamusume if you care about Memory which the only RNG that you have to fight for if you aiming for perfect Memory stats.

Graphic.
10/10 It's qualiarts, if you already know their previous game you definitely know how their manage yo keep their best feature... yes everyone, IT'S SWEAT! OF COURSE THEY KEEP IT! I just always be amazed how they upgrade the 3D MV quality, not just graphic but the lighting, camera, i just love how they make SSR MV feels so exclusive, you can see how their personality is shown.
Sound.
Uuuuh, im not pro at this... but yeah, the music is good... what? im confused ok, it's good like uh... nah, I'm just going to say everyone has different taste (btw i love koukei, I'm proud with my Hiro)
Gameplay.
Everyone keep saying it's Uma, well it is... but for me I'll say this just vertical ShinyMas lol. But for real, i like to read their card story. For my dumb brain that just understand hentai language even my English is minus, I'm using screen TL all over backlog (yeah I'm that curious about what they say)
Storyline.
OH BOY!!! I love how bold they are with romance (I'M GOING TO RELEASE MY CONTROVERSIAL OPINION) I-LOVE-IDOL-ROMANCE especially IM@S series, let me explain myself first I'm not person who enjoy self insert I'm just like look at cute couple like P-san and his wi- i mean idol. So for storyline, for me it's good (and omg, i didn't expect Temari the "blue" is actually so cute and not having too much depression aura like other "blue" from main trio)

U see ur girl, u want it? call that's wife and start saving from now. my experience? i just got 4 support card with no SSR Idol and keep rerolling bout 2 hours until i decided to link my account.

Pros
: Stellar music (they even have a built-in music player that you can play OUTSIDE OF THE APP like Spotify), best graphics in the series, modern UI, exceptional storytelling methods, lovely characters (I want to cheer on every single one of them), strategic gameplay, good gacha.Cons
: If your Bandai Namco ID is region locked to a region where the game is unavailable (in my case), you will be unable to link it to the game, preventing data transfer. Progression is a bit slow (though that may be because I have no time on my hands). Can drain your phone's battery fairly quickly.

Everything is honestly is fine and seems to be improvement compare to last im@s game, they keep what's good and replace what is bad.
I really like how bad idol sings at first, especially when they fail the exam. Its's worth it when you followed their story and reach True End to see them at big stage.
The graphics is nice but not at its full potential at least to what Umamusu set as standard.
