i love this game!

Storyline is good for me, slow pace, easy to understand which is always been the opposite from other Mihoyo games like GGZ, HSR
Graphics is very pretty, remind me a lot of Persona and that's enough for a 5 stars rating imo. I'm always vibe with 2000s styles. A bit blurry on moblile, but some how kinda add to the charm
Can't say much about music, mostly I play it muted, but Eng VA voice direction in this game actually sounds like normal people having normal conversation without being too loud or too exaggerating
For gameplay, it's easy, remind me a lot of Hi3 on the first day, which is mostly just button smash, nothing too complicated unless you dont't know how to read or too lazy. Being simple never meant as a bad thing, I'm sure casual players would love it, unless your're one of a combat centre maniac

What doesn't change is the non-existent of subtlety in the writing, they just had to spell out their problem instead of giving out their emotions as if they're trying to pad out their cutscenes as long as possible. Because this game would've been shorter than Cry of Fear if they hadn't done that.
The gameplay is alright, but weighed down a ton by the amount of cutscenes that you have to sit through and it just doesn't have to be.
Without being bothered by the cutscenes, the gameplay is relatively simple, you dodge, you parry, you attack, you switch, you ultimate and you're done.
But there's one thing that I have gripes with the combat... it plays another cutscenes.
Then there's this... TV dungeon crawler minigame...
i got nothing else to say about it aside the art direction that tries to represent how the scenario suppose to look and how we suppose to understand, while the idea itself is incredibly smart, i couldn't say the same thing if you had to do this for the next few years.
Overall Zenless Zone Zero is a game about all style with no substance, it looks really cool and it plays really cool, but that's it, it's cool.
as for other things, there are people on the internet said that this game is suppose to be cozy. I recommend NIKKE over this if you want cozy game that can be beaten with one hand.

EDIT: 20.1 GB now
Seriously Genshin has such a good optimisation compared to all other Hoyoverse games.

and dont believe streamers who market this game
just play it first on pc as mobile is unoptimized
be wary that system requirements is pure bs
its hi3 graphics with very similar gameplay but require significantly more from all the bloated and unoptimized sht

This game is not for weak devices. My device can smoothly play genshin yet this game still takes a toll on my phone, a lot.
Very much laggy especially in fight scenes. The story, Voice act, sounds is good. My problem is it takes so slow to load, plus freezes in mid games or even just walking in map alone.
Maybe it's mh device problem but nonetheless i want to enjoy playing it, might transfer in laptop soon. Lastly, the game is like HSR, I haven't gone far from the game because of it's lag.
What does the game contains?
- You start your character as a Proxy, you're like a manager for other character.
- If you play hsr you may adapt on the game pretty well.
- They give you many starter pulls, make sure to reach Inter-knot lvl.5 so you can use code redemption.
Will be updating if i got more further in the game.
Lastly enjoy the game to it's fullest!

Pros
One more masterpiece from HoYoverse’s
It's one of the best hack and slash games
The story is fascinating at minimum
First time in their games that both characters are important and have different roles
Graphics and animations are well made
Drop rate for S characters/Items is at 0.6% and for the A characters/Items close to 10%
When you go outside from the rental video club store the details on the road, houses are amazing
Lycaon is on another level
Cons
I didn't found anything yet but I will update if I see something
4.4
pros:
- a well polished and perfectly executed 2000s nostalgia asthetic with an absurd attention to detail
eg: cds in the shop all have illustrations, you can see what a character is doing on their phone or pc,the tv in the menu is interactble and some of the ads are referenced in game .etc
- very immersive world , thanks to the social media (interknot) feature and npc interactions you can get a very good idea of what the world is like despite the small scope.
- characters have different animations that fit their personality as opposed to cycling through the same five animations like some kinda of gacha life video, npcs and playable characters look like they belong to the same universe so it's makes the story a lot more immersive compared to hsr or genshin,if you don't care about the story, certain parts of it,or just want to do it later you have the option to skip through it and button mashing actually works this time(cutscenes aren't skipable for the first time tho)and the story is replayble so no need to make a new account to play it again, thanks for such a basic game feature hoyo
- wacky characters,if you enjoy a silly cast of likeable goofballs than you're gonna like the characters in this game a lot, belobog industries and the cunning hares are the best example of this.
-unique 3d animations,i don't need to explain this one
- banger soundtrack cus this is mihoyo we're talking about
- the combat is easy to get into and looks cool,i haven't gotten that deep into it so i can't say for sure how complicated it is, especially since i don't Play that many fighting games, tho if you're expecting a souls like experience than no this game follows a pretty traditional difficulty increase, things get hard when you reach higher levels, the hardest content is higher levels of hollow zero but i haven't played it so idk.
- not as grindy as something like genshin ,ascending a character/weapon only requires one item as opposed to four/three,all level up items are obtained from the same location so no running around and crafting can be done anywhere, leveling up a character/weapon doesn't require money it's only required when ascending them, ascension material (or rank up as it's called) is open on all days of the week, stamina is 240 and you get 60 for free, dailies can be performed in like a minute and you have options.
cons:
- if you hate rng gear (artifacts, relics, echos) or just can't tolerate dealing with multiple games like this then this game has it too
- the smaller scope of this game and movement might come off as restrictive
-the tv puzzles are kinda bland but they've been improving, plus the devs said they'll be working on it
- 19 gb (android) and 110 gb to install (pc) on launch is craaaazyyy for a game like this like what??
any way that's kinda it,zzz is a very polished game with fun but casual gameplay if that's you're thing then you're gonna like it.
UPDATE: IT'S 1.1 AND THE VOID GLITCH ON MOBILE GOT FIXED BABY LET'S FUC//ING GOOOOOOOO

I honestly don't understand why people aren't happy with the tv mode? but I've grown up with games like Etrian Odyssey and persona Q, so i adore dungeon crawling with my whole heart!
I also cant get over the slice of the life aspect to the game, the arcade mini games, running around and playing soccer with the funky lil bangboos. This gacha game genuinely reminds me of a paid game. it feels like a game I've paid for, its not just "log in - spend stamina - log out"
Perhaps its a me thing? but I like the game? I love it actually I love decovering hidden tech in the character's movesets, I love getting attached to the chatracters through the story. No other gacha game makes me so happy for other characters. Not PGR, WUWA, genshin, HSR, HI3, AG, Nikke, or even Fate.
Eventually I just stop caring about the story, but not Zenless. I think its because I feel like I i really bond with them? like in persona you can hangout with them, play video games together, and really talk to them.
TL;DR- I feel like I'm playing a different game than everyone else. I don't get the hate at all? as someone whos played almost every major gacha game since 2016, ZZZ genuinely makes me so happy. and this is someone who hates genshin, and HSR.
