The sound is bland, but it doesn't really have much opportunity to not be. While you're making the dioramas, peaceful piano music plays in the background.
The gameplay is good. Sometimes it can be hard to figure out which way the pieces fit in, but not often. Make sure you're aware of the undo button, because it really helps. For example, you might put a wall around a landscape without finishing everything inside, so you need to undo it.
There's not really a storyline. You make 6-8 dioramas themed around a country or area, then move on to another. It works well and has good variety. It's more than just buildings so it's hard to get bored if you're into that sort of thing.
In terms of value, it's definitely a free game. There are ads everywhere. The popup ones can be exited easily, so they aren't bad, but you need to watch ads to access some levels. However, it's still a very good game
