I've played a plenty of Kemco games, and while the stories are well-made, the fact that the endings is affected by the relationships with the other characters gives me mixed feelings. Personally, I don't prefer "harem" tropes because I'm just playing to see the main characters' awesomeness and fangirl over them.
Wizard of Brandel however, allowed me to freely fangirl but also gave me the feels for the budding romantic relationship between only two individuals-- no harem involved. There are secrets in the game which is not important for the main storyline but I like the side dishes like in any Kemco games!
