Hard to give this an actual rating due to its trial version, but after playing for around 10-15 minutes, the music gameplay is very standard/nothing stands out; it just seems like a mixture of utapri shining live, deresute and mirishita (as well as tokimeki idol to some extent). I definitely do like how fast the menu/screen transitions are and the overall design and colour palette though.
I can't seem to get the 3D MV to work at all for some reason (it's just a white screen with saturated outlines of the models) but it's definitely laggy.
Things I hope they improve on are hitsounds (they sound very jarring with the music), note design and smoother rhythm gameplay.
Looking forward to seeing the progress and improvement!
have y'all never seen a game in alpha/beta lmao ?? Consider the game is called -only your stars! edition- because the only song it has is only your stars. Elements was really nice to even give a trial of the game like this. The instructions and the interface were clear and the customization of settings was nice. You could tell the difference between the 3D rich vs normal. The 2D is good too especially when you turn the background brighness down. The extra 2 buttons on expert mode are a great idea compared to usual rhythm games expert modes.
The way the game is currently set up and runs reminds me of the Persona Dancing All Night (Starlight, Moonlight) series. Also there is a main base game and a rhythm game.
If you have an issue with it not working, well it's a trial they're still working on things ?? / get a better phone / free up memory lol it's like wondering why a game with certain requirements won't run on your potato of a computer. They'll kindly tag it with "not supported on your device" later.
The one thing I had an issue with was the clairty of the buttons themselves? They were transparent so it's sorta like aiming into nothingness
