It has a bit of a p2p feel, but there are TONS of things to get for free, so it's fine. There aren't any story elements in the game, but you can make stories through the pictures you create, so thats fun. 👌 All in all, its pretty enjoyable!!
Edit: For some reason, Google has suddenly stopped letting me make in-game purchases for this.
Edit 2: As of September 20th or so, after updating the game, I can't seem to play it any longer. the game opens to the initial loading screen and just sits on it.
As of writing this, the JP server (this version) now supports English. Also, before you decide to download this version, I'll note that there is a global server on Google Play in which I'll write the difference on them below.
I'll split this review in a few sections for easy reference;
Gameplay:
- Casual Dress-up with 10-20 minutes daily grind for in-game currency.
- It says it has a "story mode" but it actually just teaches you how to take photos more professionally plus gives you the trial items in the process. So far I've played up to Chapter 2.
- Scene Garden feature lets you collect various flowers in your garden (per hour?)/other player's garden(energy based). In return, you can trade in the flowers for special items and avatar items.
- SWAPING ITEMS. Yes, you can swap or gift duplicate items to each other. You need 'Gift Lables' (obtainable through game pass/ scene garden/ daily login/ buy with paid currency) for each item sent.
- There is also random swap you get everyday for three swaps. The items seem to range from free gacha up to the brand pools.
- Events are pretty simple for now. Community based events are the main focus where you post according to the users' criteria etc. and the user will provide the gifts.
Gacha:
- It's the only thing you'll be spending on in this game. No other shenanigans that'll require you to spend your hard earned star gems 🥹.
- There are 4 categories which are 1) paid currency ONLY 2) regular currency 3) Brand gacha (paid only) and 4) Lucky Packs.
- For each Gacha pool, it is split into female pool and male pool. So, if you only want one or the other, you can choose.
- Paid currency gacha offers no dupes if you pull in bulk.
- Daily Login gives you plenty of tickets to pull but mostly for regular gacha and occasionally paid gacha.
- Gacha duration is pretty long around 2-3 months. Newly released pools will give you one free pull for each gender so when you get into the game there are a ton of free pulls waiting.
- Gacha rates are really good for me so far. Pulling the 5+1 offer gives at least an R item or higher.
Global or Japan server?
- If you're looking to download, I'd personally recommend JP server mostly because they have a bigger selection of Gacha Pools to choose from plus the community is now well flourished. However, if you're a lost English speaker like me, ending up in a mostly Japanese community based game might be a little frustrating especially when it comes to trading items and joining user held events. Regarding in-game purchases, it seems to not accept other currency outside of Japan? You could try Google Play Credit and see if that works.
- I looked around the global server over on Google Play and they've just released the game so there are extra Login bonuses going on right now. If you don't mind waiting for more gacha pools to be released then you should download this version. Despite that, what's important is the ease of communication for English players since that's what this game is about.
Rerolls?
- Nope. You can't reroll IF you press the withdrawal button (delete account) in the settings. It takes about a month for the deletion process so you can still recover within the period. I haven't tried rerolling without withdrawal yet though. The game also won't let you play with a split account if you can make one.
- The only reroll you get is the beginner pack that is part of the tutorial that consist of 6 items total with guaranteed 1 SR and 1 R rarity item.
