The game has been changed to be pay to play. Gold coins have been removed, and only rubies are now available, which are this game's paid currency. If you live outside of Japan, you can't buy rubies. So, it takes forever to progress now. Almost all cats only give you one ruby when you give them what they request. And, you get to a point in the game very quickly where things cost hundreds of rubies just so you can progress. Killing a lot of the fun and the joy, that this game used to have. And, in my opinion, the 3D sequel to this game is just not as fun as this game used to be. I have been playing this game off and on since it first came out. And, unfortunately I can't really recommend this game anymore, unless you live in Japan and can buy the rubies, or you have an extreme amount of patience and free time. Because, you'll need it to get anywhere in this game now.
