The system feels nostalgic, if you've played games ever since "back then". You need to use the inbox system a little too much. Might feel a bit clunky for some reason. Unanimated transitions maybe? Who knows? It seems a little inconvenient but it's nothing you can't deal with.
The units are nice and aren't a big deal. The team menu is called "My Men" which is well put. The outlay is a little weird because the icons don't tell you what goes where. You might have to tap around and figure out where the team configuration and other features are.
Personally, I think the rhythm system is very unique. But, I think that it plays a little weird sometimes. My timing for the game was very off and it took me a while to configure. Some "hold" notes don't like to cooperate especially when the beat map has some crazy swerving holds. Everything else is self explanatory, and a tip for the green "scratch" notes is how all the notes move the direction of the scratch.
Overall a nice game. Not the top but it's still interesting
