Guild of Monster Girls

Maff

3.5

Played on Day 1 (Not Beta), it's abit unusual from most of the games nowadays Roguelike game made by Chillyroom (iykyk Soul Knight), their pixel art styles are really awesome and cute! The gameplay is mostly tiles gambling based adventure with simple mechanics to understand much easier, alot of characters to build your own team and gear sets that you can make insane builds (Ex: Frost Spider consecutive Follow-Ups). For starter there's quite a few maps, each with their own gears and runes set, oh by the way you can only equip 1 of each gear for that character, so like no double "2 of the same busted gear" on that same build, so abit of strategy is needed. Gacha rate is friendly to F2P!! Each adventure map you beat will give you 1 Normal banner gacha ticket, with 100 to reach pity for you to guarantee that character! Copy/Dupe of that character will be exchanged into universal Normal/Alter fragment that you can use on Normal/Alter characters to star up instead of needing the same character over n over I think they did quite well with the story at the start, but after early game the entire thing is just like looking at comic book soo i think they can improve it later on, the stories r nice tho [開心] Ok personally grinding in this game is quite a problem, at mid-late game you need an item called "Talent Fruit" which requires QUITE a grind just to get a few, enemies hit like a truck or heal half of their hp each turn later on so you have to get some decent talents (Gears r kind of free), also worth mentioning how RNG the enemies can be, for example my easy level 56 boss is HARDER than my Normal 68 boss because it's 1 tier higher and having actual build (Yo tf??), also they only have like 5-6 legendary healers while others are like 17-30+ attackers so it's pretty much we either have to nuke them at start or reroll Nine Lives talent The whole system uhmm honestly- i think it's more like semi-idle game because 40% of them game made you wait for 3-12 hours to do quests and stuffs, but while waiting, the game's community is very welcoming and willingly to help you while playing yeah yeah that's all for now yappatron

It might seem like the usual play store slop gachas, but I personally find it pretty fun. The stages act like "dungeons" but they're pretty easy and fast to clear, it has a sweep option, and the game showers you with pulls but not to the point of getting overstimulated. Not a lot of red dots (even the higher income gachas have way more of those than this game tbh), while the pixel artstyle might not be for everyone, I think the pixelart adds a lot of coziness especially with the non-demanding and non-intrusive menus etc. No idea for how long I'll keep playing, but at least I have a good vertical game so I don't have to look like some weeb when I'm in a bus.
