Barely logged in and all I can see is a black screen. I can still interact with things on screen but the graphics sonehow failed to even load? I'm willing to give this game the benefit of the doubt though and will update my review after Yostar fixes this and I'm able to actually play it.
Edit: after having fixed the display issue (caused by changing GPU settings, which should've never happened anyway), I've played for a few weeks and to be fair: the gameplay is fun; the story is alright (haven't read much yet); but the resource grind takes days in the later stages where you need to tier up and get EXP for your Discs and Trekkers (event shop helps alleviate this but only to an extent); gacha rate is fine, nothing of note; gacha resource acquisition is kind of scarce (events don't help much) and each roll costs too much for what you're earning.
In short: game is worth playing but resource grinds take quite a while, gacha resources not abundant.
It has potential, but right now it is all it has.
Release seems rush, rate drop is awful, pity is too high it does carry over, but still) there is nothing much to do, it took about a week to have the first event: stages unlock one by one, each day. Content is locked behind player level and does not guarantee you will clear the stage. At least I am still sweeping stage 1 mostly, with nearly max level meta characters, it is not possible to mlb them without high tier resourses from high difficulty stages or crafting them slowly by sweeping low stages for a long time.
The teams are composed of 3 trekkers and 3 discs for each one of them. You need to load records (presets) for any stage outside the main story, wich I find annoying. And yeah progression limited by power and energy. We'll see if YoStar can manage to put aside its greedyness and make this game a game or another slop. Only time will tell... we'll just wait to see.
