Motifs and color pallete are close to my heart as it is extremely close to one of my favourite gacha games, Alchemy Stars, the fact that some characters really look a like some characters in AS. And it's probably no coincedence as most common theme of AS is also Retro, tho its more like post-apocalyptic retro while ZZZ is more retro-urban.
Character Design-probably the best hoyo ever had. Or at least has potential to do so. Waterkuma, with signficant portion of his portfolio are loli or loli with subtle ecchi arts, as the lead character designer is truly reflected with how significant portion of characters are loli compare to other "general" audience games. Quiet surprising, as from GGZ and HI3 which have quiet "good" designs, we get GI3 and HSR as abit more tame. Now we got ZZZ that doesn't shy away with "sexy" loli. Extremely based I would say.
Sound is nice, it does what its' motif does. Just not my taste.
Storyline is bland at best, but has very interesting format so I'll give credit to that.
Worldbuilding is the best I've seen so far to every 3d rpg gacha game I've played. It really able to sell well what's in the world and give pretty immersive experience. There could be Uma Musume but that's not rpg.
Gacha-I haven't dive deep yet as I'm pretty satisfied from characters I had from free pulls.
Gameplay- probably the strength of the game is the combat. Each characters has fairly unique way of combat, and each one I've played is really fun. Combat mechanics are extremely fun, the switch parry is the most fun but can be the double edge sword. Altho it promised to introduce high skill ceiling, the parry is like 2-3 frames forgiving to timing which I would say they should nerf immediately but that could affect the enjoyment of average player, that's what I meant by double edge sword. Other strength of it though is the action combos, akin to fighting games. Altho so far I only have 1 character that has abit more combo, It's disappointing as I hoped every character would have that too. Without a doubt I'll stay to the game because of this. And I also have some ideas to theorycraft about the combat, if there'll be actual hard content.
Game is pretty good it's extremely polish, but gameplay as far as I'm right now didn't really met what exactly they said about it having high skill ceiling for hardcore player, which I am, but at least compare to other ARPGs available on mobile it is certainly has the highest ceiling.
