5.0my initial review didn't do the game justice, so here is a re-write after beating the game: This is a higher/lower game in which you modify your opponent's and your own modifiers with cards. The gameplay is really fun, even though it might seem simple at first. There is a surprising amount of depth in deck building and coming up with a strategy. In my initial review I said that progression felt slow, but it actually isn't. So you get bummer souls for beating stages, and you can exchange these souls for either tickets (which you can exchange for new cards) or gems (which upgrade your cards). You have to know that the amount of souls you need to exchange them into tickets/gems is fully random and changes after every death! If the exchange price is low you'll get a notification, so don't exchange your souls unless the price is low, this will speed up your progression by a lot. The pixel art graphics are amazing, the animations look really good and I absolutely love the soundtrack (same producer as PLEX, Stampede and Tofu Fantasy). All in all I'm amazed at how a seemingly simple game can be so much fun.
