Kuroko Street Rivals Starter Guide: Q&A: Q: Why do i lag? A: Street rivals isnt a very graphically intensive game, its usually because your connection isnt very good. for smooth play, you need full connection, because the servers are usually overseas if you arent japanese. Q: How do i change language A: You cant. Q: Whos the best characters A: Any of the (SP) Generation of Miracles are the best players, if you wanna have the best offense though aomine is by far the best meta. Q: How do i buy things using money A: Unless you have a way of getting and using digital yen, you cant. Actual Guide: Spinning for characters and who to get: First of all, when you start youll be getting a lot of diamonds constantly. For your easiest experience do NOT use all of it into the diamond gacha. Even with pity youd only be able to get the base characters (+Zone Kagami & SP Kuroko) and at a high level of play those aren't that good. Use your diamonds and any ways of getting tickets on the EX gacha, which at pity or luck (which for pity is 200 spins) you can get one SP GOM of choice (for starters, Murasakibara Zone/Aomine Zone/Kise SP are best) which will greatly enhance your experience. When i played, i had a 7 day login for a GOM, but i dont know if thats possible for players now, if it is choose Kise. Most of the time, if its a character you have to acquire and dont start with it usually = it being an upgrade. Character Guide ( Pt. 1 Base Characters) Im going to mostly be speaking about the base GOM for part 1 (+Kagami and Kuroko) simply because i dont know much about the other base cast. (Albeit, the PG characters for seirin and shutoku are kinda OP, plus most of the rakuzan characters are good.) Kagami: Good overall paint player. He's got great dunks, and his special is basically just guaranteed 2 points. Aswell, he has great rebounds and defense unlike some. Kuroko: Basically lacks any sort of offensive presence normally. You can be creative using his special to go invis to line up open shots but most of the time youll be using him to perfectly playmake teammates and being a nuisance to the enemy team by popping up for contests and steals. Kise: His base character is very very good due to his copy special ability. Despite it having a long cooldown, the ability to unpredictably copy the opponent to mix into your own kit makes you a very unpredictable opponent. Hes an impeccable all rounder and is very good choice for inexperienced players. Aomine: By far the fastest dribbler and 2 point scorer of the base cards. Hes very hard to keep clamped down, and his special ability gives him constant variation to his shots and dribbles. Midorima: He stays consistently meta wether or not you have his SP card, simply because a 3point threat puts pressure on defense aswell as makes it easy for you to score more points. His very high 3 point stats aswell as special which allows him to shoot full court means that he doesnt lose much value even after the power creep of SP characters. Murasakibara: His SP card has much better of both, but by far Murasakibara is the best defender and dunker. Due to his height and ability to get high, it makes it extremely easier to block, and due to his height you need a certain amount of timing or another murasakibara to mess up his dunks. Akashi: I think my least favorite of the base GOM. While hes very good, he doesnt cover much range with his dribbles (despite the fact that he ankle breaks very easily with his special chains). Hes extremely reliant on having stacks of his special, and so you need to wait before getting use out of him. Despite that, when he plays well, he plays very well, especially with characters like Midorima due to his unpredictable passing. Character Guide ( Part 2: SP Cards ) This covers any secondary versions of characters, despite any sort of power scaling of the game itself (I.E, zone kagami is usually obtainable in the same way as most base cards.) Zone Kagami: Simply, he gets much better at everything. Despite losing his auto dunk, the zone special is incredible, along with meteor jam. He retains his great defense and 2 point capabilities, meaning hes an exceptional PF that is much easier to get than most SP cards. SP Kuroko: Similar to Kagami, hes easy to get, but hes overall better than base Kuroko. He gets a bump to his offensive capabilities, and his already great passing and link ups perform better. Despite that, youre likely not getting much defense out of him except for steals. Perfect Copy (SP) Kise: If base Kise was a great all rounder, SP Kise is the best all rounder. He loses the ability to copy techniques on sight, but it isnt a downgrade. Instead, his special ability allows him to enter one of four modes that give him set moves and combo moves from the GOM. And unlike before, it only requires a bar to be filled to be activated, no cooldown, and you can stack to combine moves together. (by the way, only one copy move is usable per mode) Murasakibara (Purple Mist) Mode: Base overall gives you more dunking options, albeit once fully upgraded gives you more defensive options with increased blocking and defense chains with Akashi Mode and Aomine Mode Aomine (Blue Mist) Mode: Its capabilities is that of giving you ridiculously fast and wide spread dribbles. Its going to by far go the quickest as it replaces your drive skill, but it has the most chain options, and will get you into the paint very quickly. You basically have chains with every other mode (including one with Midorima mode that lets you use phantom shot), and overall it just gives you much better offensive presence. Midorima (Green Mist) Mode: Youre not going to be using this much, as it requires a ridiculously long time to acquire it in a match, but it is the strongest. Within anywhere past the 3 point line, as long as youre open you can copy Midorima's full court shot, with a guaranteed 3 if youre open, the only issue being a long wind up (which is solved with catch and shoot upgrade or phantom shot upgrade) Akashi (Red Mist) Mode: Gives you better ankle breakers within chains, aswell as upgrading your steal for better range and easier chances getting the ball. While you wont find much use immediately, it chains well with every other mode (i.e, an aomine mode chain that allows you to do a between the legs dribble that has a high chance of ankle breaking), overall making it easier to dribble. SP Kise is also what i reccomend (secondarily) for new players. Zone Aomine: By far the strongest offense in the game, being the most meta and easiest zone character to find in random queues. A good zone aomine will dribble around the entire court and shoot before you realize it. His upgrades give him even more unpredictable shots that can be used basically whenever, especially in his zone special ability, which makes his already ridiculously good base mode basically unable to be defended. He can basically carry entire teams, but lags behind in defense. Hes who i reccomend no. 1 for players first SP. SP Midorima: Overall, an upgrade to Midorima's already very good base kit. I wouldnt say its too much better than his base, but Midorima already had a base great kit, so an upgrade on that makes him even more of a demon, especially with his revamped special ability which basically wipes his need for the full court shot. Zone Murasakibara: The best defender in the game. You basically become unable to dunk against him, as it requires to mix him up very well to be able to get past him, his good speed combined with crazy reach and hops makes it so that its a nightmare for offense. Aswell, his special ability (zone) boosts his crazy defense already even better. He also finds himself into the category of being able to cheese dunks, as you still need to have a certain character size or great reaction time to block his dunks, and its even worse now because his dunks are just naturally better in base. SP Akashi: Cant say too much about him, but they made the worst (least powerful) GOM into a demon. His handles got even better, making him a nightmare to pressure, and he finally gets more scoring options, ontop of his enhanced playmaking abilities. while you wont be scoring with him too much, a competent scorer like murasakibara or aomine with him makes a nightmare of a team. Wont be counting the collab characters (gintama) because theyre no longer obtainable.
