There should be an issue with localisation on mobile language and i had the same problem where i had no combatpower nor could do damage at the first stage.
The simple solution was to change my device's language to English and it solved it. Probably the combat text in the middle of the screen uses the mobile's localisation settings and its only made for the three language this game is available on
