- Simple gameplay, has full auto, squadron management.
- Beautiful BGM, nice graphics running on max settings.
- Has plenty of intriguing story involving squadrons, each has unique own storyline.
- Plethora of pilot and plane for your collection.
- A bit hassle to grind if you ran out of skip tickets.
- Minimal involvement in combat, mostly just auto and micro manage your squad comp etc.
- 3-star base pilot has marginally more powerful base stats and faster access to 4th ability, making this game a gacha-centralized game.
- PVP is gacha race, basically burn crystals to grind more materials, and resetting arena attempts. Whales with lots of upgraded SSR pilot will always own arena.
- if you are not lucky and don't bother rerolling like me in this game, stick to PVE.
Just installed this game yesterday, graphic is good, voice actors are on point, story is quite enjoyable for shoujo-ai lover like me. Hope I'm staying for long.
The game is super adorable! It looks like a high quality game on the nds/3ds because they are 3D characters. The girls are like traditional cute and lovely Japanese big eyes style. But the game is about some old mechanics so the contrast between them are really interesting (/^▽^)/
The game have several account binding methods so it is very convenient to save your game data too!
If I need to pick one bad thing of the game, I would say the star system of cards are not like the other games. In other games, they always have 5☆ as the most rare rank. However, in this game, I believe the most rare card(that you can get from gacha) is 3☆. So I am still getting use to it~
But still it's a lovely game that I would recommend(๑•̀ω•́๑)
This is a pretty solid game, my only issue is that I can't figure out how to get new aircraft. I only got the biplane and Ki-43 out of what felt like luck or a scripted quest reward, and otherwise I've got the starter planes with no way to upgrade them or build more. I think there should be a tutorial detailing this, but this is my only complaint about the game.
First,i really enjoy the BGMS, the sound designers did really a good job, it set up the mood (and im a big fan of military march-like music). As a military game, i dont mind that the gameplay is more strategy-oriented without direct control of units.
The Graphics: Good animations, nice 3d models (when they eat around the table omg +v+) the planes are okay considering how small are during fights. (the skins are unlocked by getting the 3star and is locked to the plane)
The Gacha: Max rarity is 3 Star, with a guaranteed 2 star if you summon with 600 diamonds (like you get a SR whne the max is an SSR)
Overall: i dont know if its the login screen or the rarity, but it reminds me Princess Connect:ReDive( in a good way) anyway, just started playing so everything i wrote above may be not true, but i like this type of games (ㆁωㆁ*)
This game is good from the gameplay to music. For me the gacha is salty to get a 3 star character a.k.a the highest type of character you could get in this game. Finally, you can upgrade a character's star by using their clone or some special mats
Casual game at it's finest. Doesn't really demand your attention (in a good way), and nice pacing. PVP is good win or lose you get the same amount of reward, no pressure to win, just participating is enough. Stamina is generous. Premium currency is easy to come by. Bottom line, a game that just want you to play and have fun. Plus a very helpful wiki, just auto translate and you are good to go. Here's the link:
this is ガルパン of the skies. this is seriously my introduction of the animé. like "ガルパン あつまれ！みんなの戦車道！！" gacha, gacha rate and squad formation screens are the similar. story flow also follows the animé and since it started just recently, i doubt there'll be much content like ガルパン does. i like the way the story is told. the characters move freely and there are some short clips from the animé. gameplay felt more of a dice roll. results differ each mission replay even if there is little to no change with your pilots and their planes. my major gripe is that game features are locked by level instead of open outright. there are locked features up to Player Lv.20! SERIOUSLY! if you haven't seen the animé, play this, if you do, give this a pass; or wait till the animé move further for more in-game content then play it .
