This being the third JoJo game released in mobile along side Stardust Shooters and Diamond Records. In this game instead of shooting hockey pucks you erase tiles? to put it in short this game is just a jojo candy crush. But it is unique. from a wide variety of characters to choose from ranging from The nice gentlemen you know to a Italian man trying to stop drugs from corrupting society. each with their own unique move set. you got erasers, chargers, replacers, ETC. The art style is a cute chibi style which I guess is ok for JoJo though it is weird seeing muscular men turning into this cutesy chibi characters. and also the gacha. The rates are pretty good not like Dokkan where you practically have to blow your life savings for one LR. though to make up for the extremely generous rates they added a dupe system. basically how it works is the more times you pull a unit the more it's skill gets better. A must play for any jojo fans.
Just became a JoJo fan recently and started to play this game. I always think this game is super adorable even before I am a JoJo fan (/^▽^)/
For graphics, it is not like those 3D game, it is a 2D game. Yet I love the chibis so much because they are different from the aura from manga/anime.
For gameplay, it is a simple game like the candy crush. The gameplay is relaxing, not too much complicated aspects but not too plain. You can change their room decoration and roommates. There will be special events for certain combination of characters too! However, I think the gems are too difficult to get and the gacha require too many gems. It's not like I don't want to kakin but the ration of gems/expense is not balanced for me. Hope they will have some kakin sales in the future.
Overall, I still enjoy the game and will recommend it to JoJo fans(๑•̀ᄇ•́)و ✧
It's JoJo, what do you expect? 24/7 Stand fights? Nah nah nah... Dem cute bois be needin' a chance to shine. Girly JoJo fans need somethin' to scream at other than donuts! Plus, the JoJo community is great, especially for this game. You don't understand the Japanese interface? Ask other players! They're helpful as hell! Although, admittedly, the gacha rates succs
Before starting, I have NO interest in Jojo's Bizarre Adventures at all, I don't know anything about it, who anyone is, I basically know next to nothing about the series. Regardless, I like mobile puzzle games, so...
The game is a fast-paced puzzle game that tasks you with taking two characters into battle to face an enemy that attacks at set intervals. The whole visual direction is based on papercraft and cardboard, which is apparent in the UI and even gameplay mechanics such as creating a dice block out of folded cardboard tiles. There's no voice acting and the music isn't very remarkable. The gacha is on the pricey side, requiring quite a bit of grinding as a F2P player. Thankfully, the general gameplay is really fun, and the option to customize a papercraft manor is neat as well. Jojo fans will really enjoy this, and as a non-fan, the gameplay is fun enough to keep me around.
