-combat, party management and gacha are taken straight from FGO, 2/3 of those things are the worst things in FGO and do not understand why they decided to do it (probably money)
-enhancement is pretty similar to bang dream (as in you level up characters by taking them into battles or using tickets to level up)
-upgrading is pretty similar to danmachi memoria freese(which is somewhat a good thing considering its easy to exploit)
they seem to be somewhat experimenting with the live2d in this game hence why the movement looks weird
storywise its pretty much like bang dream, the story takes place after the events of the anime
edit: after 3 days of playing i have to update this review
1. the gacha is worse than FGO, yep for some fucking reason bushiroad manages to outdo FGO in term of shit based gacha
2. the live pvp is straight up pay2win so don't bother trying that garbage if you're free2play
The storyline may have some designated plot holes, but the gameplay is one of the most fun for me. Grinding up for my initial 4* cards and then going into PVP, is the fun I have for a kind of strategy game like this. Sure gameplay is similar to F/GO and some other games, but it has its own merits like with twilight theater.
I just love this franchise lmao.
The game itself is quite generous for F2P, all you need to have is patience and luck (yes, that's all you need for f2p). Ranking up the *4 stage girls to rank 9 is tiresome, but worth it if you want to compete on PVP to get gems and scouting tickets. On top of that, with many collabs happening (the time I write this, it was vanguard), they give out free staminas and half the usage of the stamina itself.
The events, oh god. I only finish the events to get gems from the stories and rank uo materials, but it's quite tiring to finish the bosses if you don't have the appropriate elements.
that's my opinion c:
The artworks, OST, gameplay, absolutely stunning.
It reminds me a lot of Priconne and Priconne is one of my favorite games.
to all the people having trouble, I recommend you to use TunnelBear VPN to get into the game, you just need it to pass the Title screen and then you can turn it off and have 0 problems.
but gacha rate like a FGO
>Game closes for unknown reason
Don't waste your time with this if one of those things are a problem for you, let's hope they release it overseas
