Just like every other Asian gacha game...BAD DROP RATES! Only a 1% chance for a 5*. Dozens of 10-pulls that contain nothing but 3* characters. Even if 3* and 4* are useful, it's still hugely unrewarding! Example: just did 60 pulls - got 58 3* characters and only 2 4* characters.
"Normal" story mode is unbalanced with impossible-to-beat stages that rely on specific characters (poor design)! Rune upgrade success rate too low and gold cost way too high! INSANELY heavy focus on PVP w/ a horrible matchmaking system.🤦🏻♂️
Are you ready to whale your way to the top? Has some nice art but you never really see it, for the style of game it should at least be more visually appealing. Gacha rates are abysmal so skilling up a 5* as f2p is a long trek, especially when something new and shiny comes along and makes it obsolete.
been playing since its release, im FTP and this game can be fair as long as you keep your expectations grounded. 1st thing to remember is story mode and evil castle is your best friend. 2nd most important thing, PVP, PVP, PVP. The only way you can get any kind of giant leaps in the game is by being active in pvp every time your swords refill. 3rd thing also world bosses, rune temple, and crystal caves. this game is very dedicated if you love a game where you have a lot to do and do those things on a regular basis then it will be friendly to you. on a another note as a FTP player you need to keep up with new unit and companion drops before they update. its pretty important, this game does not give you the option to be frugal with your resources. this app is amazing if you love tactical games but never give any game any kind of money since you aren't guaranteed anything keep your urges minimal and your wallet fat, its a game so enjoy it.
- First. It has auto battle. You upgrade your units and have to lay them strategically on the board to fight against the enemies. Each character has a role to play and you gotta watch the positioning and attack order and whatnot. It's really basic, but engaging enough.
- Second. It could do with more voice acting. While not entirely needed for it to be considered a good experience, nowadays voice acting is pretty much a must for these types of games. Even the most basic of mobages have a nice cast of japanese voice acting. Here the voices are restricted to the 5* characters only, so it feels really underwhelming. Who knows, maybe they'll add more VA in the future.
- Third. The protagonist is totally you. And that is all I ask from these games. They nailed that super well. The MC design is faceless and generic, but still really badass. The art is awesome, too. Shame not every character gets a nice CG. Low star characters get only a simplified sprite. A good mobage overall. 7.8/10
