The game is so good, well this is my second idol base game I played the first one is Cinderella girls apparently this one isn't a rhythm game it's like a qte game for what I see, visuals nice, I love the art in this, cute and hot girls, the story depends which idol you chose to produce is nice but there's a limit to it if you failed to gain 1st or 2nd in your live the story ends there (ACTUALLY you need the achieve a certain amount of fans to finish not just getting 1st or 2nd), music is nice and everyone in the game has voices is what I like about this (except you) the gacha is sometimes nice with you but getting a rainbow in this game is serious difficulty well I manage to get one primary thanks to free rolls but afterwards it all depends to rng now.
latest edit: apparently the game is getting newer features so this review only covers the starting basics a little but it's still a ok game, But i did stop playing.
I really really love the characters and the new style but the language barrier is my biggest problem.
unlike CGSS and MLTD, this game is not a rhythm game and you need to understand japanese to play this game properly.
otherwise you have to check guides and google translate all the time.
overall this is a very good game and i really hope the SC franchise will get bigger and bigger and eventually get it's own rhythm game. (or much better, english support)
This game goes back to the arcade Im@s roots. It is a really simplfied version of that and it isn't that bad. The biggest missing thing is the lack of 3D models, meaning no dancing MV, Idolm@ster series main selling point.
Also, this is the type you don't need to play everyday. Just a few Produce a week and some FES and you can get the main event rewards easily. But if you play a lot, you will feel burned by playing the same events over and over.
Overall, a nice game for Im@s fans, just to fill the time when you are recovering your stamina in other games.
This is basically a simulation of how to produce an idol somewhere close to that, even communication with the idol is important like keeping their confidence up or keeping your promise with them when they make request. The game gets really complicated especially for people who can't read japanese. The graphics is amazing the way they use the live 2D system I really like it. It's not a rythm game guys it's an idol simulation game.
Finally the mobile version! Takes me when i first started playin im@s games on the PSP the implementation of Live2D is stunning~ the only downside are the crashes and sometimes screen flicker at the start.
