Akuamiki THE iDOLM@STER SideM: LIVE ON ST@GE! | Japanese

It looks really great but I just wish the rhythm part was fun, but it's way too simplified and easy. I also would've loved it if the story was full voice but sadly it isn't. It would've been much better if they just copied starlight stage's system but with the side M boys.

game is shit, please don't let this game affect your view on sidem. watch the anime (original and wakemini), listen to their songs, or just read about them on the wiki. sidem is a very good idolmaster franchise and this sad excuse of a game does not give them justice

Overall a terrible half-assed game, if it wasn't for the Idolm@ster name this would have shut down months ago.
It's supposed to be a "Producing game" but there's nothing about it. The rhythm aspect is awful, baby-tier mode with only 1 note and you can even pass it without playing it.
Lack of voiced content in stories and cards is evident compared to the other imas games, which makes me think they don't even have money to pay voice actors, pretty sad.
Graphics are ugly and thats the only saving grace of this game, there's costumes for the idols but you need to roll the exact same card 3 times to get a costume.
Most events cards are boring and bland. It's not very friendly with F2P players, barely gives jewels to roll and only cares about whales.
Not even sidem fans like this so If you want to play a good imas game, try starlight stage, theater days, shiny colors or the console games.

At first, I'm not really a fan of the character designs 'coz I found them too simple... Until I saw Seiji Shingen... 😁 Just kidding. Anyway, I appreciate it more now but I'm still not crazy about it.

The performances are also very smooth when I use the standard 3D which I'm happy about.

I love it, especially Dramatic Stars' songs - I even listen to them on Youtube when I have the time. The other songs are great too and I love their dance moves.👍

I understand why some people hate it especially when they've played a gazillion other rhythm games, but it doesn't bother me that much. I actually find it unique that there's only one button to tap throughout the whole song - I suck at rhythm games, so this is challenging enough for me... LOL

As for the gacha, rates are so-so. And Idk if it's just me, but I find it hard to collect stuff to strengthen your card - kinda grindy.

Can't say much about it since I can't find translations of the main story. If anyone here knows a link for translations, please tell me - It'd be much appreciated.

TBH, there are other rhythm games that are better like Enstars or Utapri, but it's an okay game for me, enjoyable - I play it when I have nothing else to play or when I'm waiting for the SPs or BPs or whatever of my other games to replenish.

If you're the type of rhythm game player who likes hardcore stuff, then this game would probably not be for you as it would not be challenging enough, BUT if you're a player like me who's mostly chill, then you'd probably enjoy it. 😊

I love SideM. I love my boys. But... the game is such crap. Like wtf is bamco doing? Why do the boys get such crap treatment? They did Million live and Deresute well, but why not SideM? They don't even give individual characters their own special animation anymore, and the events are boring and they aren't as frequent as before. I'm still going to be playing the original card collecting one, but even that's becoming crap. If you want to get into SideM, I reccomend just watching the anime and reading main/event story translations. Until bamco gets their shit together and gives this game a revamp, SideM will never get new fans and old fans will just end up leaving. Personally, I'm putting money into SideM, something I love so much, so that bamco can see how much SideM means to us fans. But, I'm honestly not sure how much longer I can keep it up.... I just want justice for my boys.

Odalis Torres THE iDOLM@STER SideM: LIVE ON ST@GE! | Japanese

I love SideM but this game doesn't really do it justice, especially compared to Starlight Stage and Theater Days. The graphics are okay, but nowhere near the quality of the Idolm@ster mobile games and isn't on par with the newer games coming out; the dances seem kind of stiff and boring.
What really bothers me is the rhythm part of the game. A one button rhythm game gets boring fast and lacks variety between songs. I understand it was like this to differentiate from the other IM@S games and to be easier to pick up for non-rythmn players, but at some point those players will also get bored. I personally feel like a better idea would have been making one button easy, a two button normal, a four button hard, and a six button expert to differentiate itself as a game and appeal to newcomers to rhythm games.
The events, like other parts of the game, are repetative. It is always the same type of event. There is no score match, there is no token event, just plain collecting points. I feel like it doesn't make events feel special.
What I do love about the game are the cards, outfits, and story. The models are a bit iffy but I don't mind it. The Performance feature is REALLY fun to play around with and the outfits are pretty decent. I love SideM's characters and songs so I have a lot of fun in MV mode. The amount of gems you need for gacha seems higher compared to other games but maybe that's just my imagination.
I'm sure a lot of people know, but Bandai seems to not care for SideM:LOS as much as the other branches games. Yes they update with events and gacha, but everything seems... still. I've played this game on and off with MONTHS of break in between and its the same everytime I come back. No UI changes, no new mechanic. Just the same game, with the same event format, and the same one button. I want SideM to have the best, but this is not what it deserves.

For my POV, its my first time to play im@s side m after I watched their anime and reading a manga... This is the best game than utapri... its very relaxing especially their songs than to stress all over my head...

The event and gatcha almost the same but I'll recommend this for those who want to chill while playing or if you want to be a monster in other rhythm games... I will respect all the players out there...(´◉‿◉`)

Although it's not the best idol game out there, I think it's not bad as some people think. The graphics aren't thaaat good, but it's a good alternative for phones (like mine) that aren't particulary in the best conditions. Say, it works completely fine in my case.
Then, cards aren't that impossible to obtain, and they give enough M Jewels to make a group audition (if you SAVE them and just don't go single-pulling like I did when I just started lol) and they even give you 2500 M jewels on special occasions, and some events have a free pull a day, which sometimes turns out pretty good.
The "producing system" of the game is quite simple but it doesn't mean it's particularly bad. And yeah, the outfits are hard to obtain (that's one of the things I'd change, but it doesn't make the entirety of the gameplay).
A really positive aspect of this game is the variety of characters and the fact that they are really lovable (In my opinion). Each one has their own side story and the characters interactions between each other are just super sweet 😭💕 Maybe the story is not fully voiced but I don't think it's really a problem.
Another thing I love is the music. It has a good amount of songs available from start, including two songs of each unit and lots of collabs (the world treasure songs are precious) and each one has it's own stage, animation and outfits.
Overall, it's not the best game but that doesn't mean it's bad 💙 It's pretty good if you spend some time playing it and get to know the characters ( a Natsuki fan here 😆)
Kiarata THE iDOLM@STER SideM: LIVE ON ST@GE! | Japanese

Like most says, rhythm gameplay is not the best, can be quite boring too. But the gameplay doesn't revolve only around that and as sad as it is not fully voiced, they are slowly adding voices in. I do enjoyed the game a lot even with the flaws they have and their character side stories are quite interesting. This IS a Japanese game after all so it not being understandable is not really their fault but ours. But if you did understand, the side stories for this game is actually a lot more interesting than most idol games.

I accidentally uninstalled this game. Well, I did organize password few months ago, so I tought it wouldn't be any problem for log in again. But when I tried to log in with the most updated ID and password, it kept saying that I should login with the newest one. No, I don't have the new one!

Now I'm too disappointed to play it again, I just finished my main event with Ryu SR and this happened afterwards T_T

Don't believe any gacha games those aren't connected with email anymore. Damn.
