This game is VERY FUN. It is Metal slug BUT GACHA AND WAIFU. Why you not trying to get some WAIFU from Metal Slug Hmmm??? WHAT ARE YOU WAITING FOR? LET'T GO!
The gameplay is good and I like the Metal Slug classic graphics and arts but this game is keep leaned more to pays to win. It possible for you to become strong in game but it take tremendous amount luck, time, and a good head for strategy and planning because if you spend your resources recklessly you will having a very bad times in this game that going to make you to consider to use money, making a new account to restart this game, or just drop it. In other word, this game are not for f2p with poor planning, and really bad luck.

The game is so awesome but.. It's needs money because it's "pay 4 win " or you will play for years to be the pro gamers
Certainly the game is on a decline, it still doesn't take away from the fact that you can hang out playing, talk to friends and guildmates (not forgetting the characters who are very cute) ✨✨
La verdad me encanta este juego desde que lo empece a jugar no lo eh dejado pra nada pero tres razones son las que me enojan de este juego y es que por culpa de este juego lo seguiran actualizando y no sacaran metal slug 8, ya no actualizaran metal slug defense pero sin embargo a la vez pienso que es un buen juego esa es mi opinión

I love the Metal Slug franchise as it is a big part of my childhood. This game provides the much needed unit information, lore and technology design of the Metal Slug universe.
Gameplay:
•The card-based-tower-defense hybrid gameplay is honestly ok, still requires a little bit of strategizing on certain occasions.
•The online component of the game is FLAWED. Balancing is non-existent! For example: a lvl 14 players gets matched against a lvl 63 player with overpowered units.
Graphics and Sound:
Even with the new units introduced in the TD titles, they still remain faithful to the visual theme.
Resource management:
You'll probably spend a lot of your time farming for materials for your units, or unit parts. You may be overwhelmed at first with the amount of things to do just to prepare and enhance your units and decks(there's more for other modes). It'll take some time to get used to it.
Gacha:
It's no surpise that a gacha system present in this game. A "Free" gacha(MS Crank) and "Premium" gacha(Medal Crank). This game is VERY reliant on this system. You want a powerful unit? You have to test your luck in the Medal Cranks.
Medal cranks are not cheap at all! Medals are hard to gain once your viable options has been depleted. Still, they are kind enough to offer some free pulls, giving you a chance to earn a good unit.
Energy System:
As a F2P mobile game, this game uses an energy system renamed as Sortie Points. There are multiple ways to earn sortie points. Be informed that not all modes use sortie points but another form of limitation with their own way of replenishing.
Is this game P2W?
Sadly.. the answer is YES. The game is p2w. You need to spend a lot of money if you want to obtain overpowered units. The game even encourages you to make an In-app purchase to gain leverage. Although, you can still get overpowered units through Extra Ops with extreme grind or with luck with the free pulls.
Even with the downsides I still love this game, it just immerses me even more with the world building of Metal Slug.

This game is fun with 1 new event and 4-5 "new" troops (most of the time they are just reskins but we'll talk about it later) every week. I play since 2016 and I think the major problems about this game are transactions and powercreep. the game is heavily based on them. The platinum currency (medals) are not hard to farm, especially if you're new, but the rates are horrible. and thanks to reskins your 0.5% SuperRare (SR) op card will become powercreeped in 1-2 months. Every week you can buy a premiere troop (you can get it for free after some week if you are lucky pulling it) and some medals in bundle for 21DOLLARS. Almost every time that troop is useless. Event card most of fhe time are useless but rarely they are better than gatcha Featured cards. Oh and don't expect for metal slug related army, the featured gatcha cards are just a bunch of never saw thots. In a nutshell don't play this game if you want to say f2p because it's hard and frustrating when your card will powercreep
La musique est tellement épic sur ce jeu, il en vaut le détour juste pour écouter la bande son. Après pour le gameplay j’ai une légère préférences pour les Metal Slug classique.

É um jogo muito bom do tipo battle-for-points, o gacha é bem honesto e os gráficos das unidades em Pixel são de uma excelência surpreendente.
Ele é um jogo em continuação da franquia Metal Slug, uma das MELHORES que os consoles antigos proporcionaram, sendo aperfeiçoados e corrigidos para tornar a experiência do jogador cada vez melhor. Tudo para lembrar os velhos tempos de Nintendo 64 entre outros, e mostrar para aqueles que não vivenciaram a época o quão nostálgico eram os jogos antigos.

La verdad este juego me encanta por que uno de los primeros juegos que jugué en mi infancia, por eso soy un adicto pero ahora que lo veo más detenidamente tiene sus defectos como que el 80% de los eventos son copias de otras unidades solo que más fuertes o algunos personajes como los "especiales" son solo recoloriados incluso su imahen de presentación suelen ser las mismas de la originales pero de otro color pero esto, pero por todo lo demás es genial las mejoras que estan haciendo pero creo que no son necesarias de todas formas
la verdad es un juego algo entretenido es bastante bueno hasta cierto punto lo unico malo que eh notado es que normalmente el chat es bastante tóxico asi que para las personas sensibles no seria algo muy agradable de leer dejando la toxicidad del chat la variedad de personajes es expectacular dandote una libertad de elección para hacer el maso que mas se adecue a tu manera de juego es un punto muy positivo al menos dedde mi punto de vista otra cosa mala del juego es que creo que te aburres rapido aunque creo que eso depende maa de la persona quien lo juegue.
