Silver and Blood | Global Review(s)

The character designs, cutscenes, artstyle, and ultimate animations are AMAZING. In every cutscene that's shown when playing the Main Story, everything is animated. It's like you're watching an anime season of Silver and Blood. My favorites right now are Empouza and Starry-Eyed Aiona (the Aiona alter basically) because of how they were designed.
Developers give out a lot of pulls; there's literally an event where you get 80 pulls in total for free when finishing all the Main Story chapters! Not to mention this is the one of those gacha games that actually show blood when in combat.
The voice acting is also really splendid! Not sure if it's just me but a few lines are not voiced for some reason in the Main Story...? I'm not sure why, I'm playing the JP dub and this happens. Either way, the VAs are really good at voice acting their parts.
The gameplay though... I'm not a big fan of auto battling combat systems. It could've been better if the combat had any strategy systems that require brain usage, but it is what it is.
Overall, this is a 7/10 for me. I really like this game and I might stay for a while. I'll update this when I go through the rest of the story.

Много всего в игре каждый день помимо сюжета еще активномсти занимали наверное час-два.
Ok, на 8 главе упираемся и начинаем заходить раз в день чтобы забрать афк награды и делать дейлики виклики...
Баланс в испытаниях очень странный. Некоторые проходятся с первого раза, некоторые по многу раз надо перепроходить и с щупальцами отдельный вид)
Едиственное что меня огорчает это то что я застрял со своим основным аккаунтом, не могу его подключить к ПК клиенту, что-то сглючило и у меня на одну почту привязалось 2 разных аккаунта,, поддержка 4 дня уже ничего не может сделать, отписывается примитивными шаблонными отговорками. Пока приходится играть на эмуляторе, надеюсь что-то придумают.
Поиграем подольше, посмотрим. Пока могу порекомендовать заценить, только будте внимательны с созданием аккаунта, только 1 можно создать на устройстве.

EDIT 1: The devs are really nice. They are very interactive with the playerbase, and many issues I've faced by playing on an emulator have been or are being fixed. They are always quick to patch bugs too, and the customer service support staff are very friendly.
EDIT 2: Okay, since release, they've been monetising. BUT honestly, my fellow F2P gamers should know by now to give up hope on getting skins in any gacha game, so I won't mention those. And yes, there is a paywall at some point, BUT the event stages are perfectly clearable as an F2P. You will have no problem reaching 20k+ BP fairly quickly as an F2P. Of course, whalers will reach 100k+, but F2Ps aren't aiming for leaderboards, are we? (And you don't really need to play ranked modes either.) Plus, 20k+ BP is more than enough to clear all the Normal event stages and watch the entire event story(if you're a fan of lore like me). All in all, I'd reccomend you keep this as a 'sub game', not a 'main game'. Play other games like AL, GFL et cetera as your main game and keep this as a fun little sub game for when you need a breather after pushing your main games.
EDIT 3: Nevermind, I don't think there is a paywall, so long as you push main story to unlock all the features related to heightening your BP. I still haven't encountered a paywall, if you think there is one, it's likely that you haven't been pushing main story and unlocking everything(like Dutchman's Revenge, et cetera.) The progression in this game isn't particularly slow, compared to the many other gachas I play.

The gameplay is 10/10 just ur ordinary rpg but with wonderful artstyles!!
The game is new though and entering kinda takes long which is understandable.
F2p friendly and they do spoil u a lot! You should play sooner or later since the pre-register thing gives u a lot.

This game tied with Phone ID. you can't create another account. Even delete data or re-install game.
Change account need to login with account bounded first. not with unbound account.
even deleting an account, you cant do anything, except cancel deletion.

Отличная идли тактика, где НУЖНО уметь читать описание скиллов героев, и миксовать героев под определенные цели. Древо в игре есть, так что герои будут макс уровня от вашей основной 5-рки.
И да, гача в игре не жадная, собрать основную пачку вы всегда сможете, даже не имея копий героев их можно запихать в Дерево и качать других.
Донат в игре не нужен, но желателен.

And to be honest, I WANT to like this game. I really do.
I'm a sucker for gothic, sexy vampire stories, and Silver & Blood delivered, only to be marred by bad game optimization.
Pros:
- Incredible art & story style that truly embodies old-style vampiric story-telling reminiscent of the Castlevania-esque grit.
Even just going into character menus give you this amazing feel of mystical awe on almost every character.
Moontoon understood this genre well. 5/5
- Quite generous early-game (!) rewards. I'm not going to say very, because I saw a caveat; I'll explain later.
- A great character interaction system; each one feels very personal when you give them gifts, or engage in discussions in certain game modes.
- Decent QoL systems.
The upgrade system is very similar to Figure Fantasy, ironically, which, will become a Con below.
- The MUSIC. THE MUSIC. 'NUFF SAID.
Cons:
- EXTREMELY unoptimized.
The game limited my device to 'Medium', and it was still not enough; I keep getting crashes now and then; it seems to trigger everytime I switch from Event Story to Campaign Story.
In fact, the instance dungeon that gives skill mats uses a tower-defense style, FLOODING your screen with creeps. A 4gb device won't survive this.
Now, I understand this game is aimed for higher-spec devices, but I'll be honest:
- GAMEPLAY MODELS SUCK. GRAPHICS SUCK.
I mean it.
Again, it might be my device, but considering the graphics, I find this unbelievable.
I played Ceres M on this device at the HIGHEST SETTING possible, and a 10-year old game outshines Silver & Blood- oh, I hear you: 'But, Elli, your device suck; and Ceres M isn't exactly-'
I played King's Raid on this device AT HIGHEST SETTING possible.
I played Outerplane on thi- you get my point.
The Ults cutscenes are great, ofc, but let's be real: these Ult animations are mp4 inserts.
Almost every gacha does this.
Which, is funny because I'm fairly certain Ceres M, King's Raid, and Outerplane uses GAME RESOURCES for the ult cutscene animations.
To test my theory, I played this on my friends' Infinix tablet with a Snapdragon 8 Elite chip & 8gb Ram.
And I was right; even a high-end device STRUGGLED.
- Store Pricing is... weird.
Most Gachas offer a 10-pull on your first dollar purchase.
Their equivalent? 2 regular pulls, 300 Rubies, 10000 coins. Wut.
Kinda high-priced, even on their 10-pull offerings.
The gacha system & upgrading (!), as I mentioned, is mirroring F.Fantasy; only the SSRs will reach the highest state possible.
That's bad. Empousa, the female lead, has no SSR equivalent; and Noah's SSR equivalent is hard to get someho- AHHHHH. That's where it clicked.
Clever of Moontoon.
💨- Game code distribution is... hot garbage, TBH.
I hate it when companies do regional codes, even if the rewards are the same; AND MOST DON'T EVEN WORK.
I genuinely liked this game, and may continue to play if the optimization improves.
But, as a reviewer, I urge caution.
I've been reading some bad stuff about Moontoon as a game dev, too, but I have no proper context to provide opinion on this.
The story telling along with the illustrations alone, somehow, is keeping me hooked.
I'm going delulu AAAEEIIIII~~ XD
