Other than that this is your typical ship-waifu collecting game where SSR will always be proven to be superior in every aspects (and yes, this has been a thing when I talked to peeps playing in CN as I also used to play CN version) so bear that in mind.
Equipment system is similar to Azur Lane so you know what to expect tbh, equipments are based on rarity and they're all upgradeable. Missions to get exp and all the good stuff opens everyday, which makes it better because you don't have to wait for day x to get the thing you're looking for.
Unlike CN version, the main mission has more missions you need to clear before you can do X-1 ~ X-4. To make it more "fun", these missions have auto disabled and certain missions will force you to go on a specific route so you need to minmax your fleet composition very early in game.
And then, we have to come to the biggest issue and its generosity; gacha. Every other games hace their own gacha rate but for Blue Oath..... I can say it's pretty bad, but there's something interesting about it. For every new banner you can roll for X times (20 or 30, kinda forgot) and you'll get one guaranteed SSR without having to pay extra cost, there's a box on the right side of the banner for you to press.
What else? I have nothing to say other than "if you're an Azur Lane players looking for Kancolle Arcade clone with mechanics that you'll feel you're at home then this is the best one you can get"
Edit #1: editing my review after a more thorough gameplay, some aspects of the game were changed in JP version, eg. expeditions which is missing from the game.
Edit #2: another edit as I see people are complaining over rarity gap and the abysmal rate of gacha (while obviously only playing for several days)

Oh! Of course! waifus!
You see, this game is like Azure Lane but in 3D!
Forget that lame ass 2D ship waifus! Play this game and experience your waifus on not-that-realistic anime 3D graphics! Explode those alien ship waifus, gain materials, upgrade your weapons, make your waifus happy, get more waifus via gacha, and touch the hell out of them!

On a more serious note, this game is for people that like a bit of 3D action on their ship waifus.
Is this game for me? Nope. But I can appreciate the good points on this game. Such as the graphics and sound (especially when they get hit by enemies
don't tell mama). Too bad I can't read the texts that it affects my gameplay.All in all it's enjoyable despite not being able to read anything on it.

I being straight forward here, This game was not meant for you who easy to pissed off and hot headed one. The chapter, Challenge mission, The event and other stage Require player to play it over and over again, so if you're so easy to get bored of

Now let's talk about 3D stuff
I know this game mechanics are quite interesting than any other game that has same setting, but to be honest the game mechanic it self are quite crappy where you can control 6 all of them into single formation and very limited manuever making the player can easy to get pissed off when trying to dodge incoming attack. Also, dont forget about the cutscene during the attack where it can be so BUGGY especially mobile phone with processors mid-below.
The Blue Oath, this game has something promising inside of it that fans of game of this genre "ship" were looking for. But still, this game need more improvement especially when dealing with bugs, control mechanics, more bugs, and stability.
ah almost forgot!
The gacha system,
Just don't waste your resources such as diamond for gacha. The gacha system in this game are a lot more worse than what you might think, so rather than wasting your time on gacha, it more better for you to start investing your resources to upgrade the character that you have. Trust me, it lot more worth to spend your resources to level up than seeking the new one

Can't say much about story because I can't read moonrunes. But it's a battleship waifu-ish game and you know what you are looking for. Beautiful waifus, ripped clothes in damaged state, moe and so on.
Surprisingly fun gameplay, somewhat like an arcade game with beautiful models, great voice acting and nice attack cutscenes, which can be turned off if you want. And what is even better? Auto mode, yes you heard it, this game has auto mode for farming which will help alot in term of avoiding repetitiveness and time saving.
And now the most important part of the game, gacha. Yes, we all want to know whether the game is "f2p" or "p2w":
First, I would say the rate in this game is rather low, not entirely abysmal though. You can use tickets or premium currency to roll (180 gems/tick). You can get tickets on first playthrough on hard stages (10/story) and the gems can be acquired through missions/achievement. Not generous enough but not bad. I would say save up for your waifus because it has safety net.
Secondly, every shipgirl needs dupe to upgrade. Yes, the beloved system: duplicate. However, from my experience, you can pretty much get as many dupes as you want through Construction (Azur Lane, Kantai...) and a new system that will generate for you a dupe when you put your waifu in. It is great but after getting one you need to wait for a certain amount of time before using it again.
Thirdly, the shop itself. You can buy rate-up shipgirl with medals which can be acquired through gacha and other SSR ships with in-game currency, which can be farmed in daily maps (skill books, weapons, exp).
In conclusion, I would say it is very f2p indeed. A little bit of patience and management and you can get your desired shipgirls.
How about the gap between SSR and the rest? well it is a waifu collection game, the rarer the unit, the better they are.
Nice and all but what? Your phone cannot run the game? well, they have pc version but you need to create an account on your phone and scan the QR code every time you wanna play. You can try and play on an emulator but the game runs better in the PC version.
And finally, my conclusion for another long review. The game has every aspects that you would expect in these types of game, however, it shines itself with the unique gameplay, smooth 3D models, new waifus (who does not like it?). Hence, if you ever consider to try this, go ahead, the game is great and very fun.
