Description
ConcernedApe’s Haunted Chocolatier is a simulation game developed by ConcernedApe, which is also the developer of the popular simulation game "Stardew Valley". A trailer is revealed by ConcernedApe to show some of the gameplay and early development of the game. In this game, the player will act as a chocolatier living in a haunted castle. The biggest objective of the game is to run the chocolate shop and sell chocolates to people in the town.

While Haunted Chocolatier shares a decent amount of similarities with ConcernedApe's previous work Stardew Valley, including its pixelated art style and the gameplay that revolves around the player's life in a town, the developer also emphasized there will be some major differences. Firstly, the focus of Haunted Chocolatier will be a chocolate shop, where the player needs to sell chocolates and make a living after collecting different ingredients and turning them into delicious chocolates. Secondly, the game is themed around ghosts and haunted spirits as the title of the game shows. This inclusion is not meant to be scary like a horror game, but it is here to spice up the game by adding a cute and quirky theme. Lastly, ConcernedApe has said that Haunted Chocolatier will be more of an action RPG compared to Stardew Valley. It can be expected that there will be more elements of battling and exploring.

At the moment, the game is confirmed to be released on the PC platform only. However, ConcernedApe has spoken about the intention to release the game on other gaming platforms as well. In addition, the languages supported in the game aside from English have not been revealed yet. Also, the date of release of the game is still unknown.
