▪Story Summary / Introduction▪
HAMA and it's 18 districts are declining as a tourist destination. You decide to work with your childhood friend, Kafka, to help him in achieving a longtime goal the both of you share of reviving all 18 HAMA tourist districts by establishing a company called HAMA Tours, which will provide meaningful tour packages based on different themes.
Employed as the company manager, you embark on a trip to find 18 district mayors that will make up 4 tourist groups: R1ze (morning group), Day2 (afternoon), Ev3ns (evening) and L4mps (night). Each group will work alongside one another to provide travellers with enjoyable tour events and the best hospitality.
But surely, this flight will be a smooth one without any turbulence...?
▪First Impressions▪
One aspect I found interesting was how the game has both a canon female and male MC, complete with full names, designs and voices in the main story.
The concept of "district mayors" and "travelling" is very intriguing and I really have to say hats off to Liber for always coming up with interesting and innovative ideas as well as aesthetic designs for their games!
▪Gacha▪
Beginner bonuses are great! You have a reroll banner which allows you to "keep" a previous roll. Gacha rates are at 3% but its definitely possible to get 3 or more SSR cards during reroll, so I highly recommend doing so if you don't mind rerolling. You also get multi-pull tickets as rewards after the tutorial and a free (fully maxed) SSR just by doing the Beginner Tasks.
There's also a special gacha every month on the 18th. The SSR rate is boosted to 18%, pull price is discounted by 40% and you're guaranteed an SSR on your 100th pull!
During character birthdays, you get free 5 pulls on said characters birthday banner as well!
▪Gameplay▪
The gameplay is essentially a form of tower defence. One course/battle takes me around 1min but the event courses are a tad more difficult. You can also auto-battle the last course/battle you cleared with 3☆; it's a small button to the bottom right of the OMOTENASHI BATTLE screen. If you don't have the time, I recommend setting up auto-battle and then closing the app as it can run in the background without being open - very useful!
▪Story / Characters▪
Story-wise, each group has a certain written theme throughout their main story section which ties in to each character. Some have the narrative more focused on them during the main story, but I assume future stories will provide more backstory/development. All in all, the main story is highly enjoyable with a good balance of emotions.
The world-building also seems very fleshed-out and consistent - there is even a mini dictionary for specific world/game terminology. Additionally, a "novel mode" exists which allows you to read the story as if its a chat log, without the 2D-live models/background sounds.
Once you reach a certain intimacy/bond level with a character, you can unlock mini "novel" chapters (full text with a few animations) which will give you more information on their backstory. I really like this sort of approach as the variety of reading formats definitely makes reading a more novel experience (pun intended)!
It may not be easily known until you read the main story/go on the game's YT channel, but the game has several music tracks sung by the characters. Majority are main story OP and ED songs but they sound great and will certainly be worth a listen!
▪Cons▪
Aside from a few bugs/spelling errors (e.g. dairy instead of daily tasks) at launch, I'd say the layout of the screen/buttons can be hard to make out when you're new to the game, due to the way they designed the menu screens. Things are much, much easier once you get used to it and know what to tap.
On the other hand, with so many images/text on one screen, you can take your time to appreciate the design choices and read the little pieces of English sprinkled around - there are lots of details!
Additionally, as a few players have already mentioned, the game can drain your battery fairly quickly. I started with "standard performance" but had to set it to "low" when reading the stories.
▪Closing Note▪
Overall, I'm looking forward to possibly more music and seeing how the characters/world will develop. I definitely think 18 Trip is worth it if you like the sound of the world and its characters.
And if you do pick up the game, as they say in 18 Trip... Hama (have a) a nice trip!

-The artstyle is one of the best for this kind of idle game. It's aesthetically pleasing to look at, with the models and live2d being designed and operated well.
-The backstory of each character is well-built and the voices match their personalities. And 18trip characters r all interesting guys so pls take some time to digest their own novels!
-You wont need to spend much time on this game. Just log in to complete daily tasks and out!
Cons:
-Some of the game's functions won't work and kinda inconvenient (for eg, the button to arrange the cards, switch to the kizuna mode..) but overall everything is pretty smooth.
-So far, there aren't many things to do this game. Its gameplay revolves around placing chibis on the map, which is repetitive cuz the maps r pretty much the same.
Overall, tho I seem be a lil critical to 18trip, I still luv and will keep it for some time as this game has so much potential! Btw, stan my 2 adorable kittens Netaro and Chihiro!

I wasn't interested, I think, is great, but when I read that Tasuku Hatanaka was the voice of the male character, well... I choose him. Leaving a side that biased aspect, with all fully voice it helps me to study the language better. Nice.
In general, I can feel the dedication in this game. Each character has their own 3d movement, so it gives you input about their personalities. Their own stories are pretty funny, and most of them are unique and memorable. You can have an oshi guarantee, lol
About the story, I can't say a lot because I roughly understand japanese, but it is engaging, and I want to know more. The director of this game put a lot on mind with his team, so the idea of revitalizing tourism and giving a vivid experience in this game can be felt it. There's a tidbits collection about the game that was translated.
The graphics, the art, the songs that you can find in the game (in the music section, and on youtube), there are a lot of things that made the experience enjoyable. Only a few glitch on the game, as expected of being released, also it happens to me in my devices, sometimes the story look without proportions in my screen, I hope can be fix it.
On the whole, I think I am a great competitor in joseimuke games, entertaining, and friendly, and I hope can more exposure.

Story-wise i have no clue whats going on, but I really like the character designs and the overall aesthetic of the game such as the menus is cute.
The first draw "save and reroll" function was great too.
We seem to be a travel agency sending handsome guys to greet people at the airport - if someone sets up such a company in real life i imagine it would be very profitable.
A fun casual game that you can just play for a few minutes a day and doesn't require too much effort, and it's nice to look at (both the UI and the characters.)

gameplay: thought it was gonna be boring but its actually enjoyable and its easy to understand also reading the stories were kinda funny cause i dont even understand whats going on and theres like 5 sound effects played at the same time
ui: confusing as fk, i can still kinda understand it bc theres some english but the ui and homescreen was definitely more different compared to other games + small ass text
i still dont undersyand the gacha in this game but im just gonna keep playing anyways

Đồ họa và tạo hình nhân vật rất đẹp. Mình vốn khá thích nét vẽ của oyo-sensei nên có hơi để ý từ hồi mới nhá hàng. Tới lúc nhìn thấy Natsuyaki Chihiro là đổ gục luôn. Tạo hình cực kỳ xinh và đậm chất văn hóa gyaru! Đến cả Npc như Yunyun cũng đẹp nữa (rất buồn vì em không playable). Một điều nữa khiến mình ấn tượng là thời trang của game cũng vô cùng đa dạng.
Giao diện game đẹp, tối giản và gọn nhẹ. UI xinh lắm í. Dù không hiểu sao đôi khi lại sai chính tả ngớ ngẩn như "Dairy mission" hay "Wellcome"... Mình thích nhất là giao diện khi đọc chính truyện. Cảm giác như đang thu thập những tấm vé du hành vậy, rất nêu lên tinh thần của game.
Dàn nhân vật của 18TRIP đông đảo và đa dạng. Gồm 4 nhóm: R1ze, Day2, Ev3ns và L4mps. Trên Youtube chính thức của game có đăng tải video phỏng vấn 18 câu hỏi với 20 nhân vật xuất hiện chính. Ai có hứng thú hãy xem thử nhé, trên fanpage 18TRIP Vietnam cũng đã dịch hoàn chỉnh 20 video. Mình có thể đảm bảo cá tính của ai cũng phong phú cả.
Về cốt truyện, mình hiện đã đọc xong cả bốn chương chính: 001 (R1ze center), 002 (Day2 center), 003 (Ev3ns center) và 004 (L4mps center). Chương nào cũng có cái hay của nó, và chương nào cũng có những phân đoạn khiến mình phải rơi nước mắt. Muôn vàn chủ đề được đặt ra: giữa người lớn và trẻ con có những khoảng cách gì, hạnh phúc là chi và làm sao để hạnh phúc, như thế nào là sống thật với chính mình... Và mỗi khi đọc xong một chương, mình đều thỏa mãn với câu trả lời nhận được. Đối với những ai yêu thích MC có tính cách thì 18TRIP sẽ là lựa chọn tuyệt vời. Nhân vật Hamasaki Kaede (nam) / Hamasaki Momiji (nữ) được xây dựng sống động đến mức ngang hàng những nhân vật playable. Mình đã rất nhiều lần xúc động trước suy nghĩ và hành động của anh em họ, đôi khi còn bật khóc. Giọng lồng của game rất truyền cảm, góp phần khiến cốt truyện trở nên hay hơn cả. Điểm sáng và độc đáo của game ngoài ra còn có cả tiểu thuyết của từng nhân vật, nơi mà thế giới quan cũng như quá khứ của từng người được khai thác một cách thú vị, có thể trải nghiệm trọn vẹn nhất sau khi đã hoàn thành chính truyện. Có những cuốn đã khiến mình khóc nức nở. Có những cuốn đã khiến mình mỉm cười sau khi đọc. Và chính nhờ sự mở rộng của tiểu thuyết nhân vật mà cốt truyện chính của 18TRIP rất có giá trị đọc lại! Bởi nó sẽ đem đến cái nhìn trọn vẹn hơn về nhân vật. Hiện chính truyện của từng nhóm đều đã và đang được dịch. Các bạn google sẽ ra ngay.
Về âm nhạc, mỗi mở đầu và kết thúc chương đều có MV ca nhạc. Đối với các event lớn cũng có một bài nhạc riêng. Mình loop đi loop lại nhạc của Ev3ns là "Scarlet Scars" và "Ex-Emo" rồi. Gu nhạc mỗi người khác nhau nên khó nhận xét, nhưng mình nhận thấy game làm chỉn chu ở mảng này.
Mình sẽ không chấm điểm mà chỉ nêu cảm nhận về game. Nhưng nói chung là chơi 18TRIP đi các bạn!

1) My phone literally dying while playing this. It's very strange cuz I have medium settings and my phone feels very comfortable with Ensemble Stats MV's, Sekai, Genshin... Like what??? Why?? This game has 0 gameplay fr.
2) A lot of bugs and idk why they can't fix that. You need to change your phone language to English, not very comfortable.
3) I hate auto because you need every time to re-play stage (if you played another) for the button "auto". So dumb fr...
4) Animations are veeery slow idk. Not funny.

I really liked the gameplay, I was confused at first but I learned it for like about a minute and it was super easy, I enjoyed it lmao.... Also this is the first time that I heard an MC (us obviously) with a voice since its kinda unique for these types of games to have the mc fully voiced... There's just one problem, it's about the game where when you already finished downloading the resources, it will be all just pitch black I tried restarting it for 2 times and somehow it worked and it became normal again lol.. I hope they can fix this issue soon since lots of player keep babbling about this issue that is going on right now
