Spellers: RTS Defense

Spellers is a roguelike real-time strategy defense game where players summon distinctive units to defend against enemies and destroy the enemy base. Each stage features different units, requiring players to understand and utilize their unique characteristics effectively.

Spellers stands out from traditional side-scrolling defense games in a few key ways. The most significant difference is that Spellers' units are 3D and move similarly to units in RTS games. Rather than overlapping without restriction, they move, target, and position themselves just like in famous RTS games like Starcraft.

Another major difference is that Spellers' units have distinctive traits, unlike the stat-driven focus of most defense games. Each unit has different attack types, such as direct attacks, area-of-effect attacks, or splash damage, with various ranges and unique attributes. Instead of simply summoning high-stat units in large numbers, as seen in idle growth games, Spellers requires strategic deployment of units at the right time and place for effective gameplay.
